Go to cash crusaders, speak to the guys and give them your number, tell them to call you as soon as something comes in, worked for me ;-)

Where did you buy your equipment from?

I got a bench, barbell + adjustable dumbells and 60kg weights off gumtree for like R700.... the guy didn't know what he was selling.

Game and Sportmans are roughly the same price, some advice buy the thickest bar they have and then weights that fit it.
You should be looking for a barbell bar the thickness of an olympic bar.

I recently bought the thicker bar for better grip and now need to buy plates to fit it.

I got a few weights from the scrap yard a few years back for cheap. And they still look new.

can`t you guys buy cement and fill empty paint tins and stick some rods inside?
Thought about buying some but DIY seems more fun

I have done this with 25L empty paint containers, filled with water and chains attach to the bar, want to start using it for squats.

Lol DIY -

Yeah alread have the bar, not olympic - normal weights - If I get heavily into it I will trade up.

Gimmie links Sam cause I came up empty - cheapest I found was R10 per kg and they were in Ibs
