Some research states that there is an increased risk of kidney stones. Not sure of the validity of this. Could be that?

Although excessive protein intake remains a health concern in individuals with pre-existing renal disease, the literature lacks significant research demonstrating a link between protein intake and the initiation or progression of renal disease in healthy individuals. More importantly, evidence suggests that protein-induced changes in renal function are likely a normal adaptative mechanism well within the functional limits of a healthy kidney. Without question, long-term studies are needed to clarify the scant evidence currently available regarding this relationship. At present, there is not sufficient proof to warrant public health directives aimed at restricting dietary protein intake in healthy adults for the purpose of preserving renal function.
Good to hear! Between the last challenge and this one, I did not put any effort into maintaining the weight loss, and surprisingly I did! Obviously when I went back to carbs I gained back the initial water weight I lost, but from then on I pretty much maintained without any effort at all. I didn't go back to my old ways, but I certainly did pig out on occasion.
You guys are an inspirationI would also say that the main reason I am certain I will not fall of this particular wagon is the fact that I seem to have quite honestly vanquished the role of alcohol in my life. No drinking = An iron-like will, regarding issues of willpower such as the food one.
I'm definitely feeling lighter after 3 days. No visible changes though. Have been struggling though with bad migraines. Had one that started yesterday afternoon and lasted till 2 this morning.
Drink more water and up your salt intake a bit, preferably something like pink himalayan salt.
I'm also starting today.
Height - 1.81
Weight - 115
Goal
Loose belly and go down to at least 95 by 30 March. So that's roughly 10 weeks for 20kg's.
What I will be doing
I have already started drinking less coffee and less sugar. Cutting out all fizzy drinks and beer. This will be replaced by water.
I don't eat a lot of bread, so that's a win already.
Meat will be baked or grilled and not fried.
Joining a gym tonight to do start cardio. I'm very very unfit.
...........
The next week or so is going to be a little rough and I need some extra energy... What can I take that isn't tooo bad for me? Basically an alternative to bioplus + calmettes![]()
Mainly protein in the form of red meat, mostly grilled, so the fat drips off.

Vitamin B shots are great, they last a while and give you energy and great mental focus.

Just buy the two 10ml vials yourself and take 2ml out of each in an injection and inject yourself. Works out much cheaper
