Weight Loss Thread 2014

Unfortunately from what I understand we should resign ourselves to the idea that we arent going to have any more sugar/ very little sweet things in our diet. *Quoting Scottulusmaximus.

I have none.

It's much easier this way than always looking for substitutes.

On the plus side, this appears to improve your sense of taste in general.

I agree. My treat every now and again is 2 blocks of Lindt 85% chocolate and that has a sweet taste when in proper ketosis and off sweet stuff for a while. If you eat it without being on lowcarb, it is bitter as hell.

I also find macadamia nuts have a slightly sweet taste when on LC.

So I can't find my post where I stated my goals....

Seriously guys. Thanks for all the help from the start and tolerating the noob questions. Also big thanks to all the motivation this thread and it's people has provided!

Hoping to do the same for you in a while.

Bit more than 2 years ago I was sitting at 110kg. When I started this journey 4 months ago I was stuck at 105kg. So all and all I did a 20kg drop but 15kg was thanks to this thread.

Guys need to ask a stupid question - I need to buy lunch today as I forgot mine at home... What can I buy from either a take out place or P n P that will be the closest thing to maintaining my LCHF eating.
