Weird - ADSL issues after heavy storm

We just had a major storm, lightning hail etc. Lucky the router was plugged out. Now my ADSL is up and down like a YoYo and my voice line is dead. You guys think it's damage to the line somewhere?

yip have the same issue, more than likely cables got wet, etc.

all you can do is report your line and hope for the best unfortunately

Same problem here in JHB and luckily my router was also unplugged before the storm hit.

My line is still unstable and my speed is 1/4 of what it should be. I'm surprised (worried) that this thread is so tiny.

Had everything unplugged, and when I plugged it in afterwards, the 20Mb/s line only syncs at 14Mb/s now.

Two port resets had no effect, so I logged a fault.

Thinking ASSIA is messing around with the sync profiles again, because the stats are still showing that the line conditions are good.
