I am using Telkom speedy, and bought 1 port LAN DLink ADSL bundled with their speedy package. What makes me confused is my ADSL modem is Dlink, but sometimes when I enter 192.168.1.1 (which is my Dlink management page) connects to other brand of modem!?? Weird, very weird.
Today when I entered 192.168.1.1 on my comm, connected to ZTE Adsl modem page, next time connects to broadcomm page , next time connect to SMC adsl modem page. What went wrong?
The IP address I entered is always the same 192.168.1.1 as it is default. When I entered my correct Dlink page, I saw under DHCP client, there ARE other computers with IP assigned by my modem (very weird). My Dlink only connect to my computer, and only one computer at my home.
I am afraid it could affect my bandwidth usage. Is it they are hacking my modem?
