Weird and Wonderful Dashcam

Hi Guys,

thought to ask here,
did mail the manufacturer/importer (amrod) but not holding out much hope.

looking for drivers for this dashcam:

when connected to a win 10 X64 bit PC, I get this as a hardware ID:
USB\VID_04FC&PID_1628&REV_0100&MI_02
USB\VID_04FC&PID_1628&MI_02

Windows update nada, and SDI (snappy driver installer) nada.
shows up as general image device in device manager.
SDI even says it cant detect a compatible driver,

googled a few things, but seems like nothing but spyware and adverts.
from a few Russian sites

no idea of the chipset, and if the firmware is recent,
might want to download both?

anybody able to help?

What are you attempting to do?

If it's to extract video why not just remove the sd card?

AFAIK the cam is not meant to be attached to a PC, so there is no need for any drivers.

Well firmware for one, and for another using it as a webcam on my PC.

Dashcams aren't designed to stream video via USB.

nobody can tell me what model this is?
I take it its a generic one, with different branding on it, but isnt it similar to another one?

I discovered yesterday driving home at night the IR sensors dont work, and their is no menu option for them to be switched on.

I get it, its a random thing, but id like to see what I can do to fix that.
