Had this problem for a while, everytime after starting up the game and joining a server for the first time I hear all my harddrives starting up (that clicking sound) and the game freezes during that time, I then get kicked and have to rejoin the server, this time no issues though, any ideas?

I haven't seen that. Perhaps a bad sector triggering that? Worth running spinrite to check them.
think so, can hear more than one spinning up, not in raid and not the same brands/size/shop and yeah only bc2, tonight it didn't happen though

you will be able to check health status and do a error scan even with the trail version
yeah it does sometimes, usually igame severs or the 1000 ticket conquest servers, but i always hear all my drives starting up beforehand, do you just get kicked or does the game freeze on the weapon loadout for 10 secs then kick you?

Please read the OP again. He gets kicked out of BC2 servers when he logs in. I was saying it happens to me under certain conditions that I listed as well and asked him if it is the same for him.
The server groups I refer to are the WAGE servers , iGame servers and SGS servers.....pick one.
