Weird issues on line to much noise ?

Hey guys

I have been having weird issues on my line since last year . Have had various routers , telkom techies coming out but the line drops very often , then resynchs for a while .

It seems worse after rain , i have attached a pic of my SNR and Attenuation any aidea what it means

SNR of 5.1dB on a 7MB line is marginal at best but isn't bad given your attenuation (44dB means you're quite a distance from the exchange).

If Telkom were to unleash ASSIA on you (interleaver is currently 1,1 = no ASSIA) I suspect your download speed would drop to 6MB.

The speed is not that major ( two pc`s on netflix worked fine when my line as 4 mb ) , its the dropping that is driving me up the wall.

Side note when we moved there the line was great , stable as anything , then one day say telkom digs in the road close to the sars office and since then endless issues

PM TelkomZA here on MyBB and ask them to have a look. Dealing with someone that is prepared to have their line speed reduced would be novel for Charl & the guys

... OTH they might be able to get the SNR sorted without dropping your speed.
