Weird latency issue

Ok as the title suggest I've come upon a weird latency issue.
Ok so I was playing Warzone on my PC and I noticed my ping was not the best so I alt tabbed out while in game and did a mybroadband speed test and the latency seemed fine and here's the weird part as soon as I went back into the game my ping was 10-20 ms better but it only lasted like 3 minutes.

So I alt tabbed out again and did a speed test and voila once again it was 10-20 ms better again.

So yeah I can improve it everytime by doing a speed test mid game. What could be causing the latency to improve for 3-5 minutes after doing a speed test?

I connect using a Huawei b315 router to MTN also I'm wired to the router not using WiFi.

Using LTE is a fun experience of having completely random latency at any moment.

I usually find the more traffic is going through the link, the worse the latency is.

Even stranger is that I don't even have to run the speed test I just have to open or refresh the mybroadband speed test page to get this 10-15 ms improvement in latency.

Router was hacked and starts crypto mining when traffic is low. Stops when you run or browse speedtest to hide itself.

Sorry just my imagination running wild it is a huawei after all.

Probably some prioritization going on with ISP.
