Weird memory card issue - Note ll

Wonder if you guys can help.

Just got back from overseas. Phone worked fine there. Was using a sim card I bought there. Now when I get back to SA, my gallery is empty. All my pics & videos get saved to my sd card. I can access all the sd card content through My Files but nothing appears in gallery. Has anyone experienced this issue before?

Sorry. Phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Anyways managed to copy everything off it when it somehow picked up in the phone, copied everything across to my PC. Formatted it and it's working fine now. So much for the SanDisk Class 10 SD card

Format in Fat 32

Failed to format in Windows. Could only format on the phone. Will check what format it's in
