Hi.
My plasma has 2 RCA inputs,1 is used for DSTV,and the other for my DVD player. When the 2 units are connected,my DVD movies play black and white. In order to solve the problem I have to swap the inputs, but then DSTV becomes B&W and the DVD plays fine.To view DSTV properly again, I have to swap the inputs to its original configuration. My DVD player and DSTV unit has no HDMI,so I have to use RCA's.Tried it with another TV and I get the same problem. What gives?

Logically, it sounds like there is something wrong with the plasma's one input... So, check if there are NTSC/PAL settings for that input, otherwise it might be faulty.

Doesn't your DVD player have a component out?
Yes both tv and DVD have component. So I went out to get a component cable and hooked it up.Colour picture on dvd but no sound.I then used the RCA cable from tv to dvd but only used the audio white/red and viola, everything works now.
Thanks for suggestions guys.might have been plan B.
