Weird SD PVR / HD PVR Problem

Hi all,

I've got an xtraview setup at home, but since 1 Oct, my SD PVR is stuck in scan mode.

A couple of times I've managed to get a successful scan, but the only viewable channel is 100 - for all the other channels I get "signal lost"

This afternoon I found the weird part : As soon as I power on my SD PVR, I loose the ability to view "vertical" channels on my HDPVR (eg 103).

Can anyone assist? Is this a bad LNB, bad orientation of the dish or maybe a bust SD PVR?

If you disconnect the SD-PVR, is it ok, the HD-PVR? I recall reading something on the DSTV Forum about SD-PVRs needing an upgrade. I think you may have to take it in to MC in N1 City

HD PVR on its own works perfectly and is also my primary decoder...

Looks like I'll have to take it in...

I'm one of those people who "listens" rather than "speaks"; )

before doing that did you test with the hdpvr on only, watch a vertical channel and try and record on horizontal what happens?
