This is getting annoying, for some reason when I type in textboxes on internet explorer, it misses characters as if I'm typing to fast, I then, like right now, have to type everything in notepad and then paste it into the text box. Anyone know what causes this? I'm running a reasonably spec'd laptop, 2GHz processor, 2GB ram, etc. It only happens in internet explorer, even in small boxes like the post title.

Here's an example of the above typed in i.e. and not notepad:
Th is gttin annyig, for somereasn he I type intextboxes on internet exporerer i mises chaters as Im typing to fast....

Nope.. laptop keyboard, and it only effects i.e. text boxes.

Go to control panel > system > remove the keyboard from the device list > reboot into safe mode > rinse and repeat > reboot again and install the drivers from your Win XP CD again (or the OS should already have them so you might not even need the CD)

Hows that help an i.e only issue? I'll try anways.

control panel>internet options>advanced>reset

Restart your computer.

Try it again.

Check that you have the latest GPU driver installed and disabled ClearType of whatever in IE7.

What version of IE you using?

Could you check which font you are using in IE?

Click internet options again, at the first screen, click fonts, third at the bottom.

Now choose Arial for example and apply it, restart IE and try to type.

Your font may have gotten corrupt, or it's just a bug ;)

Nope, damn computer :p

No... I don't know why...sometimes it seems worse than others <-- like now I typed this whole sentence without a single error.

I'm going to watch the performance on my machine, see it it spikes or anything when this happens.... maybe there's a key logger on my pc... brb, fetching tinfoil hat.

It happens also to myself - but only when I use my wireless keyboard.

Happened after I moved my wifi router to my desktop - will have to move it to another location...
