Maybe this issue is not even a Windows issue. It can be something else as well.

Let me explain.

I have a new Computer running Windows 11 Pro.
Motherboard is MSI B550m Pro (wifi) (reason why I give motherboard detail is because maybe someone else has the same MBoard with the same issue.)

I use a few flashdrives. Mostly Sandisk and one Strontium.

The Sandisk Drives are all 8GB and 16GB then I have one 32GB
The Strontium is a 64GB

The 8GB and 16GB drives picks up immediately when I insert them into any of the USB slots on my PC.

The 32GB Sandisk and 64GB Strontium sometime picks up immediately, but every now and then it only shows in Device Manager but not under "This PC". Then after a couple of seconds Windows gives an error saying "USB Unrecognized" or something like that.

Then when I restart my PC, it picks up those two flashdrives again without any issues and I can use them normally.

I don't know where to look for the problem.

I don't think its a problem with my PC because Device manager does pick it up, not Windows.
And because it's working sometimes and other times not, it can't be that the Flashdrives are faulty.

Please help. I'm frustrated.

UPDATE

It does exactly the same in my son's PC who is also running Windows 11 Pro.

He's got a MSI B450 motherboard.
