hi there,

straight to the point , new components few months ago (Intel 2500k(turbo disabled), Asus P8P67 m Pro plus 4870 1GIG force3d (@ x16 2.0) to add to my 4850 sapphire(@x4 2.0) running on a ocz stealth 600w power supply.

problem:

I recently noticed that in the log of my asus software it said "VCORE @ 1.64v warning abnormal " and "+12 @ 24v" so did some test using prime (temp max @ 73'C although my room is cold) and 3D marks to see if it keeps happening, but it stayed stable only when I pay games does this "spikes" happen (BTW no overclocked parts). using open hardware monitor I found that it indeed spike past 1.5v that is the limit of the cpu.

question:

WTF?? is something wrong? BIOS is @ default but still it hapens, should I be worried? and if indeed so, how worries should I be?

Thanks in Andvance...
