I've never really like running, I've always been a swimmer, but I've taken it up and am planning on doing the men's health trail series www.trailseries.co.za

I've only got a pair of k@k pro action fong kong specials and want a good pair of running shoes. I've found a pair of Adidas that are great but the price is herendous

Anyone know of a Nike/Adidas factory shop where I can find some gr8 deals?

Seems like the people on MyBB are not the active kind:D

Where are you from kalevra? I know there is both a Nike and Adidas factory store at Atterbury Value Mart in Pretoria, but I have no idea what their prices are w.r.t. shoes.

Trailseries says roughly 10km a week which is full time running, so by "want a good pair of running shoes." I'm thinking its worth spending a little more.

catweasel Look at new balance and asics too.

Yeah I would rather go with those.. Jordan distribute "asics" in SA ..and NB is NB .. both have factory shops .. they don't sell reject stock, its just slightly outdated. Usually shoes last 800km but if you going to be doing trails etc worth the extra cushioning for feet imo

kalevra, it would be useful though if you posted your location

Woops Soz :p I live in the East Rand (Alberton)... I don't mind travelling for a good deal though...

I've fallen in love with the Adidas Supernova Riot 365... Phoned for a price and they're R999 :(

Hmmm.... wonder if anyone on Bid or Buy sells maybe I score a bargain :/
