Wellpoint pump losing prime

I’ve just had pump primed this past Sunday at a cost. Pump has lost prime again. Is it possible to add a connection on top of pump to be able to just connect hosepipe when pump loses prime. Is happening too often. As a female do you think it’s possible for me to do the connections myself? If any of you have any pictures of your setup like the above please do share. TIA

Is it an above ground pump or submersible pump?

How deep is the well?

What does prime even mean?

A primed pump would have water in the system from the water source all the way through the pump and to the outlet and taps so when it starts up it's not sucking up air.

Did they check the non-return valve when priming..? If your non-return valve is faulty, water is running back out of the pump and loses prime.. either that or there is a leak somewhere..
