How long can you run your pump before the flow slows/stops?

I get around 10min of flow, then it slows and sputters but doesn't stop completely.

I'm wondering if I should put a timer on the pump to let the ground water 'reservoir' refill before it's pumped out again.

Should be more efficient to run the pump less often with full, renewed flow rather than at running it longer at 40% flow.

Anyone have a similar problem? Any other solutions?

Operate it manually to determine how long (when pup is off) it takes for the resevoir to refill.
Then install a cycling timer and adjust off time to same delay.
There's no point in running a 'dry' pump..

Was thinking this'd be a start. See how many litres I get from 1hr continuous vs 4x15 or 2x30min with 30min/1hr in-between.
