So, after defending them numerous times.

They have finally broken my spirit... They cocked up with one of our big bosses laptops.

Fumbled collection, and yeah, we are looking for a new supplier.

What we want,
Variety of brands
Able to customise the machine
Shortish lead times. I am ok with 1 work week to deliver after payment
After sales service.

Any recommendations?

Wait, so the big thing was a fumbled collection? I was expecting a warranty claim they refuse to honour or something. Fumbled collection seems like one of their most tame failures.

Wootware and Nucleus Tech are both great, can confirm over the years.
Progenix looks great as well, but I haven't placed an order from them just yet.

Its who;s they fumbled......

so far, nothings been denied in the nearly 4 years of using them.
But the amount of delays, shipping to the wrong address etc. they just dont seem to care how things run

@Progenix Oj101 is on the forum so easy contact with them as they're active. Not sure what their laptop builds are like and the options they have.

Damn bro, if only someone (or like, 12 million articles, comments and user reviews) could have warned you about them.

Anyway, @Progenix Oj101 all day every day. Best service in SA, in my experience (and I've bought from everyone).
The amount of issues we had , were not that bad because we got to customise the machines, changing HDD's and memory etc.
So it was kinda...worth it?

Pretty cool, they let you do what most places do. Very impressive. How's that delivery coming along?

At your service.

I haven't been active much today because the new theme makes my eyes bleed  Kidding, I missed the notifications.

Laptop customization is nearly unlimited. Pick a laptop, pick an SSD, pick RAM. If they're from different distributors we have the parts delivered to the laptop distributor, who then does the upgrade (at their risk - win/win). If you choose incompatible upgrades we'll let you know. If you're not sure what's compatible, I'm a Live Chat/WhatsApp/phone call/email away.

If you're looking for a laptop that isn't listed, let me know. Chances are high they can be obtained and they're just not listed yet, although chances are also fair that they're not available in SA. Considering where you've been buying and that many of their laptops are grey imports...

We will never do grey imports of laptops as the service centers don't have the training or replacement parts for repairs. There are two outcomes. The "warranty" is actually a sort-of insurance package from Platinum Warranties who will try to fumble their way through a repair, or they're vendor warranties but it could take weeks/months to get the parts needed.

You reminded me to re-enable dark mode from that first comment thank you for saving my eyes!

One post wonder tenderpreneur?

Wootware, gets my vote, the way they handled a DOA drive that was sent to me(not their fault) is unparalleled.
