Anyone done a recent application with them and see this loaded under extras?

I'm fighting with them now to remove the automatically added Warranty and Group life cover and to have this facilitation bull**** removed as well, but I was just wondering what it is.

Or is this their commission? In which case what's the point of going direct?

1. They won't finance your car if you don't have an extended warranty if the car is over a certain age.
2. They probably won't finance your car if you don't have credit shortfall.
3. That R57pm is their administration fee. Accept it or don't finance with them.

Edit: Are you purchasing privately?

No this isn't related to any of those.

Bike is in full factory warranty still as it's basically brand new.

This is not hte admin fee but a "facilitation fee" of R4500 odd.

Yes it's private.

From what little I've found on the internet it seems that this might be them making a dealer of themselves and doing the leg work for papers and such. Which might not be so bad even though I don't mind doing it myself.

Sort of like the "on the road fees" but just stupidly expensive.

All fees and associated costs are regulated as per NCA.

These fees have a maximum threshold. They CAN be negotiated.....banks just don't like to.They feel much better knowing that they are screwing you hard and deep.

Its the equivalent of their On the Road Fees.... but they probably won't do that legwork for you.
