I truly hope that they get the ECS & ECNS license holders involved in this, would be really sad to see the entire WISP industry implode because now government, with massive budgets have gone and built their own network....oh and does not mean because you got a ECS license you a WISP, many licence holders are privately investing in fibre, this is tough going for them with many financial sacrifices, would be a catastrophe to see their private investment in fibre bare no fruit, it was after all them who took the initiative to lay fibre in the first place.
I think a better way would be to outsource the last mile to competent license holders for that specific area, why do they want one ISP to build the whole network when you got 700+ ECS holders in the country?
