A friend has been hosting direct IP games on his machine in Cape Town. I'm in an outlying area in the Cape 100km from his location.
Is it normal for Telkom to route CT connections to a server in Johannesburg (45ms) and then back down to the Cape (another 45ms) - resulting in a 90+ ping?
Borderline unplayable.
