Westville Base station.

Was looking at the network status page this morning and i see a new base station in Westville durban. Anyone have any idea where the base station is situated??
 
Nope not on the coverage map but on the network status page its listed and "green". I have been keeping an eye out on the obvious westville sites as i knew it has been imminent for a while now, but i must be looking in the wrong places!!
 
I moved from Westville about a year ago now. I used to have Ibust and could get coverage in Berea West (near the Junior Primary). It was erratic but worked.

Where have you looked? Prison Water tower would be a good choice at it would give Queensburgh coverage as well. Otherwise Cowwies Hill has a mast of some sorts I think.
 
Iam near the University of KZN - Get -83db when connecting to Base Station 6 .Glenwood and CBD towers i get around 110/113 -db signal strength
 
Cowies hill(unless it was down on the Westville side) would be a bad choice as theres already one on Old Mutual Towers. I drove up Salisbury Av, past the Police station road and saw a mast that may have it on. Its near that office park at the junction of Jan Hofmeyer.
 
Found it

Had a hunch that they may put it up near the New Germany nature reserve, where all those other towers are, so went for a drive up there this morning. Found it in someone's back yard!! Basically up Methven road, past Atholl heights school just before the road flattens out on the left.

Would give me awesome coverage about 1 km away with near los.

I dont think the house is occupied, If it is they gonna get their brains fried as the antenna sits a few meters from what i guess is the main bedroom!!
