What’s wrong with Checkers?

They had technical difficulties, I ordered at 9.30 only arrived at 14.30

Don't get the issue here..?

Are they supposed to have unlimited delivery capacity..? They only have so many pickers and delivery drivers to serve whatever demand is in your area..

As for technical difficulties, this should not be an excuse and they should add whatever redundancy mechanisms are required to keep the service online during shopping hours..
 
According to Checkers management, Checkers have POLICIES that are ADHERED TO BY ALL!!

In my case, I would like my Sixty60 orders delivered from the Checkers branch that I shop at, and which is closer than the branch selected by their algorithm and stored on my DB record.

Not a damn 'cos of their ******* POLICIES

It doesn't even allow me to "pre-order" for next-day delivery.

Yeah, I just abandoned my trolley an hour ago after discovering that they provide a watered down listing of goods on CFS . My favourite olives are Mount Cedar, but they don't list them on the CFS site despite listing them as available on the store's main website.

Yep, I want to be able to select the store I use, the one they think I should use has limited options of items or often out of stock of items I want. Only used the app once, now uninstalled.

Weirdly .. I had the same message on the Pick N Pay ASAP app yesterday afternoon. This morning I see the app says I am outside of delivery area (despite using them lots in the past and being 800m away from PnP).

It might be co-incidental but I saw that there were hardly any biker delivery people outside the store today around lunch time. Just one Mr D guy. Maybe the bike-delivery-people are on some sort of go-slow or hush-hush strike ? Weird it affects 2 unrelated but large chain stores? (cue the conspiracy theorists)
 
I was just at my local (relatively small) Checkers and they're going crazy packing orders. There were probably around 12+ sitting on the racks and 6 more being packed in the aisles.

If anything it's become a bit of a schlep trying to get your own stuff in between all of their trolleys.

Yeah this is hilarious.
Same thing at my local Checkers: aisles full of delivery pickers with huge great trolleys, very few actual shoppers. :ROFL:
