Hi Guys,

I have started my business 3 years ago and it started very slowly. I don't expect anything to fly through the roof.

My advertising platforms are mainly Facebook and most of my clients are now from word of mouth.

Does vehicle branding help you with advertising as I am thinking about that? Just my back window.

A website would be a great addition (I've PMed you my details)

My best advert by far was word of mouth
I started the business in 1980 and provided an inexpensive solution which made customers happy

Also:
If something goes wrong, fix it quickly and without delay
Turn up on time to appointments
Avoid unnecessary expense
Get reliable staff who don't cheat and steal
Be helpful to customers and develop the business to include other electronic items like TV, audio, access control
Get to know builders and developers. All apartment buildings erected today have access control and many rely on the electrician to do a mediocre job
Electrical contractors get asked to install alarms and they generally don't like fiddling with "tiny wires"
And above all, be honest

Word of mouth is usually the best form of advertising in your industry.

What would be better is a website where your contact details are easily accessible.
In addition to this people like a quick turnkey solution. For CCTV for instance have about 5 different options of packages from low to high with a fully installed price. I've seen best results for CCTV companies when they do this. People want to call/email, tell you what package they want and get a date for installation and finished. Make it painless. And put a little effort into the website so people then believe you'll put some effort into your installations. First impressions and all that.

Would not visit Facebook page  and many people aren't on FB.

Not knocking you, it's a start and I don't know if @Thor was being funny but you really need a website.
