Obviously I’m missing something, Apparently the cheetahs are through to the playoffs, playing all 16 their games, on the log they have 50 points,
Now my confusion comes in, Stormers have played 15 games with a game in hand, they are standing on 46, so if my calculations are correct, should they beat the bulls, and score 4 tries that would move them to 51points, ahead of the cheetahs?
or what am i missing?

It is the silly system. The log leader is never the log leader. The log is never the log. Because 8 free points are dished out at some arbitrary moment for some arbitrary reason.
