Hi All

I am looking for new antivirus software I was wondering what you would suggest

I don't mind paying for it it does not have to be free but it must not take over my machine get in my way

I am currently on a Norton Antirus 2010 30 Day trial and its not bad its quite light and it does not slow down my machine it also doesn't try do everything for me

I like the feature that does not let scans run or updates happend when you have a full screen app running

Are there any better ones

Comodo Internet Security also provides a free anti-virus and firewall, and its quite good.

Free download is about 75mb.

If your looking too buy get PcCillen

Avast, AVG and Avira AntiVir is free to home users. I use Avast at home and Nod32 at work.

thanks for all the replys will try a few of them and see which one is the best

I use Bitdefender Total Security 2010...but am going to try Kaspersky IS 2010 when my license expires...

Been using AVG for years - it's light and unobtrusive. And Free (The free version).

Linux!

lol sorry i couldnt help perpetuating the nonsense from another thread ;)

I am happy with Avast!, Mcafee and AVG.

Have not used an anti-virus for close on 5 years now, spybot s&d + malwarebytes make an excellent combo and won't delete all your cracks and keygens :D
