what app is required..... pls

Hi,
I have galaxy note and when I go into my webmail to open a email attachment it allows me download it and then I have to choose from "note " or Html or " Dolphin" to view my email attachment and no matter what when I open it it comes out in funny symbols etc

What app can I down load to allow me to view the attachment in pure english

Do you not know what format it is in?
Perhaps .PDF or .jpg?

What is the file extention for the email attachment you're trying to download?

Application / vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet

That's an Excel spreadsheet, should be able to open it with Polaris Office.
