If one resides in a potentially "light red reception area", what should the expected RSSI and average download speed be as per speedtest.net?

EDGE if not mistaken I heard last year the tech guys in charge of the Network Coverage map were going to make some Colour adjustments to distinguish the difference between EDGE and HSDPA coverage....

Expected RSSI depends on ur location but u could get anything from -85(depends how far u r from CELLC base station/tower) and I assume light red stands for EDGE..

Downloads on EDGE is worst then dial-up

I suppose then since I have blue light and in the left bottom corner of the Cell C screen it shows WCDMA or HSPA, that I am not in a light red area - signal strength between -67 and -77.

He is sorted indeed(He shouldn't complain if the coverage map doesn't show DARK RED - the less users the better the more WOOOOOOSH Speeds he will probably get"

Same thing with me on the "Coverage Map" it shows I am not covered but over the week they switched on a couple of base stations and on Saturday I was getting no reception at all, now my WOOOOOOSH Connection is back online without any issues - extremely more stable than before.. Maybe CELL C technicians/contractors work on weekends :)

I lodged a call for my Telkom phone on Friday, Saturday afternoon the technician comes to sort out my line... I was like WTF didn't know TELKOM technicians work on Saturdays :)
