I've never had this screen before. I've got a Nexus 6p which auto updates, but I've never had a screen asking, or telling me about quick charging which was separate from the general lock screen

Came with esfile Explorer update

Thanks greenbean32! I've noticed a generally bloaty upgrade path with that app. Think it's time for a change. Any recommend?

I dont mind paying for an app as long as it's all inclusive. Don't want to have to pay for a LAN module or the ability to see hidden files

Edit : Sorry. Let me be quite specific. I don't want to get an app where those features are an in-app purchase

To copy or just to read, I normally use andlna and airdroid to copy and to stream over WiFi.

Most of these explorers is getting bloated by the day, features I don't need/want popping up, telling me to scan this and do this. ES was great in the past, it's ruined for a while now.
I'm using x-plorer now for a few months, also has a few things I don't need, but no pop-ups and scans. Anything better out there? Something simple/minimalistic?

I've gone over to fx. You have to pay for the lan module, which you don't want to do, but I like it. You have to install a root module if you need it, but that's free. The optional two panel layout is sometimes useful.

Es was really irritating when I turfed it.

Don't mind paying for an APP. But when a feature is IN APP PURCHASE does it carry over to your next device?

Hi,
i agree with other poster about Fx.
I also left Es File quite some time back.
Been using Fx and very happy overall.
It covers all my requirements
Also the dev is on XDA so you can post
in his thread, any issues.
As far as i can remember Fx is on a trail basis for month or so.. forgot
In app purchase the full app. Yes if i understand you correctly you can transfer app to new device and install duplicate Fxapp on extra devices/old devices.
As long as stay on your Playstore acc.

Solid Explorer. Got the pro version a long while back. Carries across devices, allows me to get files to and from lan, ftp, cloud... you name it.

eli5. The pro unlocker doesn't indicate any LAN support. Don't see it in the basic app. How do I watch crap on my pc via wifi??

X-plore file manager. Sure it looks like Windows 3.1 but it works fantastic.
