I got my first Raspberry PI. (Thanks to Member MikeyB)

I have have it up and running and its awesome, though now I need a case. Im looking for a cheap case that will get shipped fast. Any recommendations?

Some people have made their own cases, if you have, lets see it.

I think if I ever get my hands on one I'll make my own PVC case, should be quite straight forward.

If you search the other Raspberry PI threads, there was a discussion of this last year sometime.

I would like to 3d print my own- and there are some nice ones available, though a bit pricey.
I would probably just mount it in foam, inside a tupperware container- classy I know.

OK, so now we have people contemplating housings for the PI's, as opposed to the other thread that moans about delivery times. :P

You people actually have one. I'm thinking about setting up PI labs in disadvantaged schools, so housing ideas would be nice - durability is key. Bugger the frikkin iPad revolution in schools - we can't even deliver text books. I think a fully-equipped computer lab could house 30 PI's, and have access to the Internet, with tons of information available off the central server if Internet isn't an option.

I say: If you want to change South Africa, and make it the true 'Rainbow Nation' we all hoped it would be back in '94, then change it with education!

i like the lego idea! im using an 8 track casset (sp?) holder. took some dremeling..

hello every body, another new product just came out in the market, which is called pcDuino: mini pc + arduino, it's expected as a promising competitor to raspberry pi, you can check out for more information at: www.pcduino.com

Leona
