What are your thoughts on this PSU?

Can you list your full PC specs please?

That's weird, I could have swore I changed my sig to reflect it :p

Here it is:

Asus P5B
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz
nvidia 8800GTS
2GB RAM
3 Sata hard drives and 1 dvd writer

Hm get a corsair 550w - efficiency is better than big numbers. Or an Enermax modu87+ 500w would be rock solid.

+1 500W is enough for you, even if you do upgrade to a newer graphics card. The warranty on the raidmax is nice, but I'm betting its only around 70% efficient (its rated up to 80%, most likely under very specific conditions). More efficiency = better quality 99% of the time = less chance of blowing your CPU/GPU/mobo up.

Ok I'll go with the Enermax 600W then.

Now I just hope that it has plenty of connectors.

That's way too expensive for 600w.I got myself a 585w gigabyte odin PSU for R250 less than that price and don't have any complaints.Check my sig to see what it's pulling.:D

Dude, your not gettin it. Higher efficiency is worth lotsa money. They are harder to design, better built and saves you money and heat and consequently noise.

With the Enermax you are paying for the efficiency. The Gigabyte doesnt even list the efficiency in their specifications, so it cant be good from that view point

You actually have a 460watt power supply. Check the sticker. Can only do 585watts for 1min.

Seriously, with power supplies you get what you pay for. Enermax is one of the best power supply brands.

The Corsairs are better than the Enermax so i'd go with a Corsair if possible otherwise the Enermax is good enough

Not necessarily, Enermax are quite popular overseas. You can't go wrong with corsair though :)

The specific model I recommended was the enermax modu87+ which will beat a corsair. Check out the reviews. Also costs a fortunte.
