What can i do with my local cap?

Howzit. Was just wondering local sownload sites or torrent sites to download from to make use of my local cap? cheers

Can't believe there is so many people just throwing away the local telkom gives them. And here I am with 40GB of local and its just not enough to bring me through the month. Ohh and getting bills and warnings from telkom if you exceed your local. :(
 
cavedog, have you been billed for exceeding you local allowance? By how much did you go over?

how do you use up all your local bandwidth - I've got 30gb local but only manage about 10gm via saix.news. Its down more than its up. There's not much else to download local :(
 
OMW I've been downloading something off newshost for two days... 6.7% done :( it downloads at a average of 5kbps. I have a 384 line. It keeps loosing connection, and get speeds of 5kbps-12kbps.
 
How do I get invited to the site Bitfarm. I have managed to register an account with newshost.

Any ideas?

There are a number of us who can invite you... but we are very leery of inviting people who simply sign on to this board to ask for an invite since we know nothing about you. If you can tell us about yourself and show us where else you are involved in a community on the internet, then we might consider giving you an invite. But we don't want people signing up just to leech off of us. You can send me a PM if you want to do it privately.
 
Hiya, I've been given the go ahead to sign up for a uncapped neotel account, since Ill be able to download so much I thought I could help out by uploading some stuff to a local site. Does anyone have an invite for me pls?
 
Firstly I must apologise for the candid post.

I am a qualified software tester, who just recently acquired a 4mb adsl line through Telkom. Although, much to my dismay, I seem to be only getting a download speed of 140kb/s to 190kb/s. Terribly disappointing.

I am part of the Stickytminds and SiliconHell community. But I must warn you guys and gals, that I am very new to the mybroadband forums, and I'm just learning about the power of the internet, considering that I only connected recently.

P.S I have managed to register with newshost and I do 99% of my downloading via that site.

So here's to learning and living.
