what can you do with 350 MB ?

I am new to this 3G thing and got a bundle of 350 MB. I am no sure thought how far this will bring me. I generaly just browse the internet and send and receive emails on a daily basis. How far will 350 MB bring me?

Keep a watch on your usage I switch images off as that uses allot of bytes. Text only uses much less. Just read that Virgin Mobile(VM) asks 50c/Meg so for the same amount you can get 440Meg. I am thinking of stopping my MTN data bundle and getting a sim just for browsing from VM

I will be doing the same. I use alot of data and any saving will be great. Wondering what data bundles they might offer.
Once again, I will go for the cheapest.

I use just my MTN phone for Internet and I use it daily.

My monthly-itemized bill (just for all the data connections) is quite a number of pages. I use the connection also for software updates like Microsoft’s monthly security updates etc.

And I use LESS than 100MB per month. I even have to download a few mp3s to use my entire 100MB bundle.

If you receive a lot of movie clips or just huge files everyday by email 350MB might be the better option. Or if you like downloading software applications regularly 100MB might not be enough.

Well it's all based on the files recieved on email huge attachments = higher data bill

Cheaper is Not Always Better

Unfortuntely, cheaper is not always better. If one looks at the telco industry in general, a drastic reduction in pricing almost always leads to a compromise in quality of service.

Just one other thought:

It is unfortunate that Vodacom is already battling with the lease of their network to Cell C - and now VM will be leasing block time from Cell C - that means three operators on an already taxed network infrastructure.

I hope this helps you with decision making.
