What car do you drive and what was the deciding factor in purchasing it (if you bought it yourself)?

Take your pref:

VW Amarok V6: For doing all kinds of things one does with a bakkie. Towing the boat/caravan, hunting. going to the dam etc. The workhorse. And mostly my daily driver.

Porsche Cayenne S Diesel: Because 280kw and 850nm torgue.

BMW M2 LCI: Because I got divorced.

2023 edition

An entry level ranger, and a vw up. Bakkie is awesome because I'm always in need of one, never had enough space when camping especially. The up is awesome as it's light on fuel, my wife drives quite a distance every day.

VW Caddy, mainly for carting livestreaming gear and cameras to racetracks around the country.

Good busses that, I have one that I use for work. Please ensure that you never break the sliding door windows, those are fck off expensive. To the tune of almost R20k.

Mainly a 2021 Hyundai Kona 2.0 Exec. because it looks buff and liked the Acid Yellow.
Oh, and fuel consumption is a smidge better thatn the 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8jeep.jpg2020-hyundai-kona-00-1575634596.jpg

Wtf, the shitbox has barely better fuel consumption than the jeep? I'd just permanently ( when it's not broken down) drive the jeep. What consumption do you get on the jeep?

2021 Kia Sonet 1.5 CVT.

I needed something small and relatively frugal to do the work/back and drop kid off at school run that does not cost an arm and a leg. Got the Kia as a dealership demo a year ago. This is our second car as my wife drives the larger main family car that we use for holidays/longer trips.

I'm super happy with the Kia.
