The HD3850 is going to retail at $329 but will drop after about a month [not too sure on RSA retail price ]

GTX 260/80 is Nvidia

Dude, no, it's the 4870 that is proposed for $329.

$229 for the 4850.

You really need to check ur facts before spreading them around.

Hmmm wonder if its worth waiting though, and you can bet that if its $329 in the US it will surely be ALOT more here, as with everything in SA. I really dont think prices will be quick to come down!

No no no, the 4850 is proposed for $229 NOT $329. I wouldn't have suggested it if it wasn't in a similar price catagory.

All im saying is that with a little patience you could have a substantially better card that will last you longer.
