Spent 3 hours with Crystal Web support now who were very helpful, but unfortunately we couldn't resolve the issue.

We did a factory reset and put in my ADSL username and password, and I can see that the router is connected to them. They can also see a connection on their side from me.

Problem is though, that none of my devices that connect to the router can access the internet. We tried my laptop on wired and wifi, tried my tablet on wifi. The devices connect to the router ok, but I just don't get internet access.

Any idea what it could be?
I have the TP Link Archer D7.

Are you new with them?
With your previous ISP, were there any preset IP addresses?

or

if you have been with CW for a bit:
have you had a recent lightning storm?
similar happened to a client of mine. After many attempts by various telkom techies, the last one changed the little wall box in his(client) house.
And now he has working internet.

I'm a new ADSL user. Brand new router as well.

Line is also new, and the adsl router seems to be connecting properly to CW

Is the line with CW or Telkom? Also, did you do a self-install of the ADSL line, and if so, did you do the online activation of the line on Telkom's website? IIRC you need the Telkom order number and have to enter it somewhere on a Telkom site to finalize the activation. (This was a few years back with me)

There is throughput on the account and line. We can tell from our end. We also tried bridge and then pppoe dishing from the machine. Failed to connect. I suspect possible faulty hardware, but curious if this can be diagnosed as something else. The issue seems to be local network related. Not DNS. Not wireless. Not DSL settings. Not firewall related...

Don't have another router.

Also thought I should try find someone to put their ADSL login on my router and try it on a different line. Then I can separate router issues from ISP/Line issues.

When we ran the router diagnostics it was not able to resolve primary DNS, could DNS not have been the issue? Or did we exclude that?

Tried manual and auto. And dialing via bridge. The problem wasn't that you couldn't resolve webpages (DNS related), but rather that all devices said you had no internet connection at all. Yet your DSL sync is fine, account authenticates, we can see throughput from the modem itself on the line and on the account. So the problem is that no devices on your network can detect the modem's internet connection. Even after factory reset to defaults and only changing ISP details. DSL and ISP appear to be 100%. But getting the router talking to your network seems to be the issue. Also checked your subnet IP range and it looks fine. Dhcp looked fine. So not really sure what else could be causing this if it's not a router fault...

I've mailed TP-Link and posted on their forums. Hopefully I hear something back.

I see in the manual there is an option for "Enable NAT" picture below:

However, on my router there is no option for Enable NAT. Not sure why the manual has it buy my router doesn't, but is this something that should be enabled? Is it on by default even though I can't see it?

Hi. Just to give the resolution.
Note to the guys at CrystalWeb as well so that they know for future as well.

Turns out my line did not verify correctly at Telkom. I called and they said it was fine, but after some troubleshooting my router at someone else's place and testing other routers at mine I was convinced it was my line.

Had to force Telkom to check again (Telkom technical support was good at assisting, not so much the call centre), and turns out it was my line that did not verify correctly on the telkom website.

So to Crystal Web guys: All my symptoms were due to line issues and installation was quick and simple once that was sorted. Thanks again to your team though who were absolute die-hards at trying to get it fixed.
Have had amazing connectivity for the last two days, it BETTER stay that good :-)
