What could this problem be?

I all I hope I could get some ideas as to what is the problem I am having with my 99 Polo playa.
On the odd occasion when I start my car and pull off in the mornings and leaving work in the evenings I am turning and pulling out of the garage and get this awful knock which feels and sounds like it comes from my right front wheel. It just knocks once and feels like something broke. But then once I start driving all is fine. It’s been happening for months but is starting to get worse(happening more often), it only happens when the wheels are turned.
Someone who knows a bit about cars told me it could be my wheel bearing. Does anyone agree or disagree?

Thanks in advance :)

Doubt it's your wheel bearing. Could be lower control arm bushers.

Take it to a garage that does shocks and ask them to check it for you. They'll normally do it for free.

Or CV joints. I'm sure of it coz it once happened to me. You might have to replace the whole set. Looking at R1.5k to R3k, depending on where you get 'em.
