Thank you in anticipation of the help that I expect to get from this forum. I have spoken to Telkom but somehow am not convinced with the answers they are giving me.

Here is my situation
1. I have a Mega 100WR modem(router?), that I sourced from Telkom.
2. My understanding is that this Mega 100 WR also has wireless capabilities. Meaning that I shuld be able to access my computer on which the modem is connected wirelessly?
3. I have been told that I need a wireless card for my desktop before I can get the wireless network to work.
4. My intention is to use my phone (a blackberry bold) to connect to the wireless network. to surf the net. I also plan to get myself a laptop that I can then use around the house to surf the internet so it it very important for me to know what I need t get a wireless network going here at my house.

Thanks a lot.

Welcome new guy

1+2 - yes if file sharing is enabled and the pc doesn't block incoming connections on the network
3 - only if you want the desktop to connect wirelessly, otherwise pop a cable in
4 - no idea about blackberry wireless capability
