Like many I am thinking of pulling the plug on DSTV. We have two boys studying at different institutions, meaning they are not in the same town. This is where DSTV streaming was helpful. But now, both want to watch F1 in Monaco. I have just learned that DSTV only allows one stream at a time.

With what do we replace DSTV? We mainly watch sport and a series here and there. It can be paid.

I pay for an IPTV service. Can view rugby, soccer, cricket, F1, tennis, etc. R250 a month. I also get a lot of movie channels, series, documentaries on it. DSTV is a dinosaur and should be terminated.

Dankie Werner. Appreciate your time in replying.
Which IPTV have you joined? Are there many of them?
Sorry for all the questions. This is new to me.

One could watch it live, then the other sees the repeat. Next time reverse who gets the priority.

Not ideal but could save you in the end.

Are these IP TV services legal?

When it comes to streaming content, what does SA law consider legal or not?
What does the law say about IPTV services in SA? How can I be held liable if I pay for it legally? (Debit order for this goes off my bank account every month).
Do we have a resident expert that can tell us?

For F1, you can consider F1TV. Then add Netflix/Disney/Amazon for movies and series.

I see that the service I recommended only offers 1 subscriber per device to stream, so same as DSTV. Extra connections can be bought for extra devices/ streams. If you still want to go this route, then please contact the vendor.
