I recall a mail about a year back from the good doctor (who runs that really *** ISP) where they gave me a breakdown on where my data went to ie Streaming, VPN and downloads.

I am curious as to how much our ISPs log and what right little fat men like him has to review my history?
I am looking for the mail but the accuracy with which they described my habits was shocking, I run a UTM internally and they basically sent me a mirror of my report.

I would think that they would log the data usage types (VPN, Streaming, Download, Browsing etc) in order for them to balance and prioritize certain aspects of their network, and, if stated so in their T&C's could call you out if you were contravening said T&C's. As for in-depth detail, I think you are protected by your right to privacy, so I don't think they can log specific details such as what website was viewed or what file was downloaded.

And even if they did, could only disclose such information with a subpoena from SAPS/Court Order
