Holding thumb that when I get home tonight all my goods on AH sold.
That is about 80g worth of items. I invested about 30g.

So what amounts are you expecting when arriving home tonight ?
 
20 Primal shadow
20 Primal Life
200 Netherweave Cloth
40 Arcane dust

Hoping to see 500g when I get home, probably won't sell everything but I can always dream :P
 
I got bout 200g on the AH.
2x blue engineer recipies. Some or other scope.
All the black dragon scale recipies(leather working).
Vendetta.
Some greens
 
lol... my lowbie alt has about 2g worth of firefin snappers =/... gonna need a bit more fishing b4 I get my mount.

I learnt a trick from a person on this forum.

Play the AH like you would the Stock exhange.
I have been having a blast of a time... Making money for Honey.

Don't need allot to start. Prowl the AH, buy cheap sell high. The newb sellers drop their things on there before checking the going price. Buy it out and put it back on at the going rate. ;)
 
Only thing I miss about WoW (apart from the guild friendship) is playing the AH, I have not logged onto WoW since end of last month and think I have +-3000g floating between AH and postbox on various toons.
 
i had about 8k gold and generally in that region with the original wow and TBC.

with TBC during the day i would farm loads and loads of primals AH them and then raid in the evening.

could of sold my gold on e-bay or any gold selling site for that matter but alas i gave it to my m8.

If i can recall he told me he bought a dragon flying mount or something like that and 2 x blinkstrikes for his rogue(alt).:eek:
 
I seem to have a hard time breaking the 1k mark.

Between raiding costs and toys for alts I never seem to "get rich" \

hehehe! I was just discussing that with a friend of mine. Awesome to have an xml mod to allow you to play the auction house like the stock market... deja vu. :p

on the server i play we had a guy with a whopping 70k Gold from playing the AH and menopilizing the JC market as to the point all gems we're sold to him and he sold on AH cause he would undercut everyone else...... guess what happened to his account.

its fine playing the AH but know when to stop
 
Sheesh, I'm definitely still a newbie. I'm happy if i make double digits, of silver.

I have the same kind of trick. If I have an item on AH i know is worth 20g
I put it on for 20g and buy out all the others that is lower than that. Once I have sold mine for 20g I just restock another for 20g as the other I bought out. This makes sure that I get my price as mine is the lowest on the AH ;)

It does 80% of the time. But you must know the prices of the items... I got burnt bad once. Lost about 30g. 1 idiot had an Item i got on AH for 15g I under cut him to 14g there was a few at around 4 - 5g buy out. I bouth them all out. Just to realise later that the going price was only 4g :o

Hehe, well a night of raiding can set you back 200g in pots/flasks/food/oils/repairs esp if you are working on a new boss.

So raiding 5 nights a week can be rough if you don't make sure you have the gold for it.
