ive been using isdn for close on to 6 years now, and in those 6 years ive used disconnector 2.6 (build 1486) to disconnect automatically just before 7 every morning.

Disconnector supports (pros):
Disconnect at time (hh:m)
Actions on timeout (notify, disconnect, turn pc off)
A cancel warning at timeout (just incase u dont want to disconnect)

Disconnector does not support (cons):
Disconnect on countdown timer (eg. T-6h)
Dialing at at time (dial out at 19:00)
Specifying specific action for everyday of the week

so what have u been using, i need a change

Disconnect?...Well I certainly don't need any equipment...Telkom does it for me...Automatically...

Have you considered switching to a permanent connection Gladiator?

Whaaa? Gladiator started the thread.. lol

I'm a total idiot...After having a word with Telkom...Not thinking straight...Sorry:

bill normally between R1000 - R1200, incl. inifinte call rental, cell calls barred, and about R2 of that bill are what non internet calls come to a month.

parents do online banking and send tons of mails, and my sisters a web designer, so they gasp when they hear the word "cap". so it doesnt look like im gonna switch anytime soon
