Yeah, they shoud just put in a range if they dont want to disclose like how I did :)

Added some more context to my earnings, but that's as far as I'll go. I think that at the high end there are concerns over things like anonymity, being targeted by crime/hacking, the reactions of colleagues who know your online and IRL identity, etc. It's also one of the reasons that salary surveys are almost always biased lower than reality.

Although it does look like I need to go and finish my degree. Do you know the % increase one would get if they went to their HR wirth a complete degree after being at the company for 6+ years?

For the most part I wouldn't expect your existing company to move your salary very much at all, since because you are doing the same job, your degree has little value for them. If it allows you to do different work within the company it would be different e.g., you move from desktop support to developer, or from developer to data scientist or some such. For the most part, as Messugga said you would have to move companies to do this. The big point I want to make is that you really have to move to a role that actually benefits from your studies to really leverage them.
