what game now?

so there I am merrily blowing rival gangs away, when :eek: the game has finished, credits roll and :( saints row is over.
so sad, took me a while to get into, couldn’t decide if it was better than GTA (ok, it is, had to do some missions, pimp cars to reach that decision) but anyhow credits on the screen and its over, so what now until september...halo 3, assassins creed, fifa 08 (yeh sports game, but now with some cool xbox 360 features) GTA 4...so what to do for 2 months?
oblivion... got tired...open this lock, go in this cave, close this gate..bit tedious after a while..
I don’t want forza2 or guitar hero2 (downloaded full arcade boom boom rocket same thingy as guitar hero) so any ideas? any cool game to keep me busy until september or should i just do some retro and dust out the ps2?
haven’t done rainbow 6, should i get it? I had great fun with GOW but found fears graphics weak, so got rid of that, so how does rainbow fair in graphics?
suggestions please...
 
RB6 is fun. Playing it through for the second time and still enjoying it, especially on live.
 
If you like GTA/Saints Row you have to get Crackdown.

I started playing it last night and it's a blast, literally. Same sandbox gameplay, but with super powers. It's also available at quite a few trade/rental places now.

There's also Just Cause, which is also sandbox, but you play a secret agent causing havoc in the Jungles of South America.

Overlord is the next game on my hitlist. If the aversion to Forza is not to driving in general, try DiRT, graphic are amazing and it's a lot of fun as well.
 
As mentioned Rainbow 6 is fantastic, Crackdown is also one of my favourites.

I found Viva Pinata suprisingly addictive as well, kind of like a Sim City but not?

The Darkness should be out today as well..

Or you could head down to your local Makro and pick up a bunch of old titles for R99 each, I also just used a bunch of eBucks to pick up Quake IV, Fight Night and GRAW from Kalahari... I have heard they are all decent enough for a few weeks....

I'm playing through Quake 4 at the moment on my XBox. I didn't get far when I had it on PC. I can truly say, I'm REALLY enjoying this game a lot! It's awesome. It's also long and never seems to end. It's a bargain if you can pick up at a cheap price and is worth playing !

Awesome, mine arrived yesterday but I am not allowed to get it until Sunday... it's a present from my daughter ;)

It also has a decent story and is a blast to play. To be honest, I was a little bored in the beginning of the game, but it's now damn awesome! I thought I would be finished with the game by now, but it just keeps going. :)

It comes with a bonus disc that has Quake 2 (full game) and a whole bunch of making-of features.

Toys R Us was out of stock and CNA wanted r299 for it! Take2 is selling it for r129 so I'm leaning in that direction. :)

Already ordered from the less expensive Take2.

. . . . and if I spent my ebucks the missus would throttle me. :eek:

ok, so i headed out to the xbox 360 forums and found this dude selling crackdown and forza 2 - sweet deal arranged, so these should do for now - still looking for a good condition rainbox, but crackdown looks awesome, forza 2 not sure, but price was good so worth a try.
by the way same dude is selling a pro console plus extra wireless contoller for R2999 - bargain me thinks?
