Hi all,

I'm stuck between 2 choices a the moment...
I have been scoping out the ATI Radeon HD4850 1024mb - 256bit but sadly the suppliers are out of stock and im hungry for a graphics card, there is no way of knowing when there will be stock again...so after looking around a bit i have one of 2 choices now...

1) Club 3D ATI Radeon HD4850 512mb - 256bit
2) Club 3D ATI Radeon HD5750 1024mb - 128bit

Okay now with that in mind i am going to be being this monitor in a few weeks:
Samsung 22" Wide LCD

I am a gamer, thats why i'm getting the graphics card.

Current setup is:
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 64bit
MEMORY: 4GB DDR2 800 RAM
MOBO: ASUS M2A74-AM SE
PSU: 500watt

Now i need some advice as to which card i should take. The 5750 has 1024MB memory which is nice for the 22" but according to this review on tom's hardware I don't know anymore. Any advice to which choice is better?

Also when looking at this chart the 5750 out ranks the 4850...but the 128bit is the only things about the 5750 thats bothering me atm. :/

Thanks

I would go with the HD5750. It performs on par with the HD4850, and it has DX11 so you are future proof.

Also, WRT to LCD, you could get a 16:9 full HD 23/24" for around the same price. Or do you want 22" and 16:10 aspect ratio?

5750 it is then! :D thanks a lot for the responses! always a pleasure to come to MyBroadband to advice :)
