Whats good for the goose...........
I have a question, maybe I am just stupid or something. How is it that those rather large companies in the Cape are advertising themselves as a WISP and even seem to have the blessing of ICASA. They are broadcasting across roads and public boundaries and dont have a problem. ...... But let little old me start a WISP and the world comes to an end. We tried to set up a wisp in a small town (wont say where else ICASA will be back) and were shut down before we even got the system propery aligned. All equipment is type approved and we have a shiny new VANS license. What gives ? Can ICASA threaten the Chairman of the building that he will be prosecuted if the equipment is turned on ? Surely it is not his problem ? Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this as we have spent a small fortune on equipment and now cannot continue ?
