What grphics card do i need for vista

Not shure how this is related to mywireless, but in anycase, you basically need something with 64mb ram for the lowest level of Vista without aero effects.. I think. Actually for th every lowest level Vista look almost anything will work. So you can upgrade to Vista regardless really, but you wont get much visual imporement.

For the top range aero features, which I guesss you are going for, you just need anything with 128mb ram. But a slightly better card than a 9600 vanilla might be needed to run everythign smoothly.

Im not totally shure about this stuff, maby someone can tell you exactly..

oh, for games everything stays the same, games will run prety much the same as on XP with the same hardware. Apparently all games work fine under the new RC1, so by the final all games will be fine.
 
Need or minimum requirement?

Recommended.

DirectX 10 to start with.

Also HDCP support if you plan to have Blue-ray, HD DVD playback in future.

AFAIK Vista will run at the lowest level graphics (without Aero ect) with just about any graphics card that can run XP today. :cool:
 
True. Installed it on an older PC last week for the hell of it.

3000+ Sempron and Unichrome Onboard graphics. It worked, but only just :p
 
I heard that win xp can only take up to 4gig of ram? Can Win Vista support more memory than that?
 
Ja, but 3gb RAM works better with XP than 4gb.
Go figure...
 
I'm also slighty puzzled how this has to do with my wireless...

It could be that the poelple who use/used MyWireless are becoming highly sort after for their vast knowledge and experience. lol
