Summit/Bloomberg changes and Business Day TV launches
On Wednesday 19 June, the news channels on DStv will see some exciting changes – Summit TV (channel 412) will be rebranded to Business Day TV.
Summit TV is owned by the same company that owns the Business Day newspaper. The change in name from Summit TV to Business Day TV consolidates the company’s interested across print and television around a single brand. Viewers will also benefit from enhanced content as Business Day’s formidable news team will now be part of the Business Day TV.
This channel will also add a selection of programmes from Bloomberg to its line up from 1 July onwards. This means that Bloomberg (channel 411) will no longer exist as a separate channel on DStv as from 1 July 2013. This partnership with Business Day TV means that Bloomberg viewers will still be able to watch many of their favourite shows on channel 412.
