Yet many moons ago the mods refused to delete some of my threads :D

As with the DJ issue, the mods REALLY REALLY practice selective implementation of the rules !!

As I recall you didn't have a good enough reason to have your threads deleted.

On the other hand, your threads have been, lets say, entertaining.

Isn't tera the bipolar or some-such psychological disorder guy who has admitted to abusing his gf in the past? Is it the same gf or did he find a new one?
I didn't read teraside's thread, and yea we all say there is no excuse for hitting a woman, but what many people don't get is that bipolar disorder if it's untreated, comes with an uncontrollable rage.

i disagree, there are a lot of good reasons to hit a woman. you can't have gender equality with "omg, he hit me, he is such a sleeze"

if a woman ever hurt my son, i'd hit them so hard their teeth fell out, i don't care who it is

Yes, he quit his meds for a bit and went on a rage. But he was contrite afterwards and shared with the forum and got flamed for his troubles.

and also on that note, let me share some drama

yesterday my ex had a bad day at work(she is living with my son and me for awhile) with some colleagues yesterday, and she was feeling really down. my son(3) is growing up and is still learning what is acceptable and what isn't, and him and i play rough sometimes, so he walked up to his mommy randomly while i was out of the room and hit her.

she doesn't like spanking him, so she told him it's not nice to hit people which i agreed with. she then wanted to tell him about how the people were "ugly" to her at work and how he is hurting her feelings, and i said a kid doesn't need to know about our lives and how bad the world is, and she lost her temper and started yelling at me that i always think i'm right, this made me angry for 2 reasons.

1.) We agreed we never fight in front of him
2.) I don't think a kid needs to know who was ugly to his parents, how little money we have, what drama is happening, why daddy and mommy aren't always going places together. i just want him to be a kid and be loved.

so after i told her that we'd talk about it later and gave him a bath, she was playing music loud in her room and i went to go speak to her, when i opened the door she said "let me guess, the music is too loud". right then i felt like slapping her across the head, but i told her the reasons i don't like it and that we've spoken about this before, and neither of us enjoyed watching our parents fight in front of us.

do you think kids need to know about bad days at work or money problems?

Being a man, you'd have to stand in line, since your wife or his mother would have already knocked her teeth out by then.
There is no excuse for anyone to hurt your child, although it's very unlikely you'd find a woman hurting a child, unless there was something very wrong with her. Then you're going to have to decide if you're going to knock out the teeth of a mentally unstable woman.

you'd be surprised, i've known female teachers that hit kids across the head. if i wasn't a student at the time i would have probably put them in ICU. you don't abuse or bully someone, but i don't see why women should be above ****klaps if they're capable of doing bad things

I couldn't agree more within that context.

That's sad. I've read a few of his posts and he seems like a very calm, considerate person. People should really find out more about the illness before they blame the man.

The normal thing with a teraside thread. Makes a post. Doesnt like all the responses. Closes it. Seen the same thing happen so many times.
